2010 - 2011 Season

Music for the new (2010-2011) season in September, will include the Mozart Requiem and Rutter's When Icicles Hang.

Severe Weather

If a rehearsal is cancelled due to severe weather, you will be notified by email and if possible, the information will be posted on this website. However, at all times it remains the responsibility of the individual to decide whether to travel.

The New Music School

Hired Copies

Please remember to only use pencil to mark music scores as all marks have to be erased by our Librarian before hired copies are returned.

Members not intending to sing in a concert should return their copies before that concert.

Location of Rehearsal & Performance Venues

The Barbara Karan Auditorium is housed in the Music School.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals take place in the new Music School on Thursday evenings from 8 pm to 10 pm with a break at 9pm during which, tea and coffee are provided. Please be ready to start promptly. Car parks are situated close by.

Occasionally, when we use other rehearsal venues, members are informed during the previous rehearsal. However, if this is not possible, the information is posted on this site or emailed to them.

Dress Rehearsals

These are mandatory for all performers and will be held in Felsted School Chapel or other venue on the afternoon of each concert. Precise timings will be announced nearer the date of the performance.

Annual General Meeting 2009 - 2010 Season

This took place on Thursday, 15th October presided over by the Headmaster of Felsted School. Reports were received from the Chairman, Treasurer and Musical Director and gratitude expressed to the many people who support the Society and to Felsted School for allowing us to use the School for rehearsals and concerts. The existing Committee were thanked for their hard work and unanimously re-elected.
